14K Gold-filled Most discoloration on the 14K Gold-filled is caused by a film from hairspray or makeup. To keep your 14K Gold-filled Earspirals bright and shiny as new, put them in a cup of warm water with teaspoon of household ammonia and two the three drops of dish washing liquid. Swish them around for a minute, rinse them off and they will be bright as new. If you have a Silver Polishing Cloth, a light buff will make them really sparkle.
Sterling Silver Sterling Silver will tarnish, sulphur in the air, and oils from the skin and makeup contribute to that. So... Kathryn has a tip to keep it shiny and bright. "When I take off my silver earrings, I wash them off with the same soap I use to wash my face. I towel dry them and put them in their purple box. They always stay bright and shiny that way!" --- Kathryn
If you have let them tarnish, to return your Sterling Silver Earspirals to bright and shiny again, put them in a cup of warm water with a teaspoon of household ammonia and two to three drops of dish washing liquid. Swish them around for a minute, rinse them off. Then with a Silver Polishing Cloth, giving them a light buff will make them really sparkle.
Niobium Fingerprints will make the Niobium look dull. The color is not wearing off. Put them in a cup of water with three to five drops of ammonia and two the three drops of dish washing liquid. Swish them around for a few minutes and they should be as colorful as new.
