All of our style numbers have meaning.
They are abbreviated mini-descriptions of our jewelry. They tell us the shape, metal, stone, and how the stone is attached. It's kind of like a "Secret Language" and now you are in on it! Next time you see us, point to one of our designs and say the "Secret Code" style number and we'll think you're way cool and a real Harry Mason fan! For example, H1XSGF tells us it is a classic basic single twist in 14K Gold-filled with a Hematite bead attached. As you can see, it's a lot faster to say, please hand me a H1XSGF, when we are busy, than to say the full description. Once you learn it, it's fun! You don't need to learn it, this is just to help you if you are wondering "what does FO on the 53SFOGF mean?"Placement of the letter codes F 301 If the stone (F=Freshwater pearl) is at the beginning of the style #, it is attached and does not move 53 F If the stone is at the end of the style # it dangles53S CZ A 53S with a dangling CZ (CZ=Cubic Zirconium)53S w1CZ For 14K items, a "w" for "with" means the stone is soldered on in a 4 prong setting Metals GF 14K Gold-filledSS Sterling Silver14K 14K Solid Gold14KW 14K White Solid GoldGFGP 14K Gold-filled earwire gold-plate dangle GP Gold-plateGF/V 14K Gold-filled earwire vermeil dangleNB Niobium (usually the Niobium color is used in the style #) V Vermeil (14K Gold over Sterling Silver) Spirals #1 The first, one twist spiral301 2 twist spiral "Lee" or L 2 twist spiral that has a dangle up in the spiral and no beadsSP 2 twist spiral with 2 or 3 beads and a dangle ESP "Easy" spiral 1 twist spiral with 2 beads and a dangleC "California Convertible" Earspirals with changeable dangles CD "California Convertible" Dangles to wear on "California Convertible" Earspirals
